What are Trucker’s & Garage Insurance Coverages?

The Truckers coverage form is a variation on the Business Auto form to recognize hazards unique to those whose business is hauling goods and merchandise for others.
The liability coverage section is similar to a business auto liability section, except that there is an expanded definition of who is an insured. Included is anyone from whom a vehicle is hired or borrowed and being used exclusively in the named insured’s business under rights granted by a public authority.
The Truckers form has an additional coverage, Section III – Trailer Interchange Coverage. This is legal liability coverage for damage to trailers owned by others.

Garage Insurance is a combination of coverages specifically designed for those in the business of selling, servicing, repairing or parking automobiles. While a form of auto insurance, garage also includes coverage for the general liability hazards of these risks.
Coverages include Liability, Physical Damage and Garagekeepers Insurance. PIP, UM and Medical Payments coverages are offered by endorsement.
